This thought came to me at a photography exhibit. All photos on display were actually taken by digital cameras. If photos are digital what's the point of printing them when you can upload them and exhibit them online for the whole world to see? Shouldn't photography exhibits go online? (read more)

Having grown up in the Swiss slums a married man will do anything to escape the harshness of his life. Married with three children he leaves his family to work as special representative in crisis zones in India. When all the poverty and dirt of Mumbai won't be enough to bring him redemption, Sgarbi will seek love. Pure, romantic, untainted love. His fortunes change when he meets Susanne Klatten, a generous $13.2 billion sexless blonde who falls victim to Sgarbi's most innocent instincts and his new passion for photography. Be sure to see this $60 million epic film production directed by life itself. Critics say it'll definitely change your views on the cost of love, romance and amateur photography. Coming soon to a theater near You! :) (read more)

Some of the photos blind people take can be quite good or at least no worse than those taken by sighted people with no vision. Do you think we should encourage blind people to take photos even though they can't appreciate what they take? Often blind people have to confront and sometimes even harass people on the street so that they can take pictures of others. Is it disrespectful, a waste of time or worth the effort? I would like to know your opinion. Thank you

is photography blind?

Good underwater camera case? I found this cheap aftermarket case that fits various brands and models of compact digital cameras and is waterproof 5 meters underwater. The only problem so far is that the camera may move a little inside the case and the lens cover gets in the way. Maybe a transparent lens cover would be better but so far I can't complain about the quality and practical use of this case. Besides it's 1/10th of the price of what the brand name cases cost.

Waterproof case for digital cameras

I'd like someone to invent a camera that takes snapshots by telepathic messages. Both hands are full. There's no time to grab the camera, turn it on, adjust settings, take the snapshot. By the time I've gone through it all, the moment's gone and won't come back. I resign. For the upteenth time I'm experiencing the tele-pathetic limits of modern photography equipment. Does telepathy exist or not? Is it a real phenomenon? I don't know. All I know is that the moment's gone and won't come back. I'm pretty convinced though that if telepathy did exist, it could have at least helped me capture it.
