I bet everyone comes up with a million ideas all of the time. But is there a need to dream up the ideas if you aren't going to make it happen? What's the point of dreaming them up if you don't put them into action? It reminds me of someone who prays on getting a job when he hasn't put in the applications. There's no need. Be realistic.

I spotted this gumball machine selling "ideas" for half dollar each in East Village, NY. My first thought was, who really wants to pay half a dollar to buy a fortune cookie without the cookie? No thanks. But as I passed by, I suddenly changed my mind so I turned back to give it a try. This is the idea I got in my first try, "Buy a gumball machine and sell ideas for the low, low price of 25 cents"!! That was "funny" so I thought to try and see what other messages they had in store. Guess what I got next, "Buy a better idea"!!! (read more)

What about condoms that deliver an instant health check and clear the partners of any sexually transmitted diseases so that people can enjoy sex without the use of a condom? This would definitely be more useful. It can raise awareness of sexually transmitted diseases, it can lead to better health, it can allow for more natural sex and it can raise the birth rates in developed countries facing a severe demographic decline. Don't just think of your own artificially-enhanced pleasure, think about what's best for society as a whole :) (read more)

I think Barack Obama has the best ideas on how we can shape a better Middle East which can help get ourselves out of the Iraqi mess.

When it comes to foreign policy he seems to always come with ideas that are different than any other candidate out there. (read more)

Give Diplomacy A Real Chance

It is said, 'When people are short of ideas, they are full of crap'. I don't know about you, but from my experience that's generally true. We know that it's also an axiom of logic that, 'if A then B, then if not B not A'. Reasoning logically, we can thus infer that, 'When people can't crap, they are full of ideas.' And I have been constipating for 3 days now and that's the best crap I can come up with? Why doesn't logic work when it comes to crap?

Since I came up with the following idea for my term paper, I'd appreciate if you could give me your comments and feedback. I would like to argue that humans decide the length of a word based on the frequency of use of that word in every day talk. The more often a word needs to be used, the less syllables it will have when you compare it to words that are not destined for use on practical, every day needs. The reasoning is that, it's more practical and easier to communicate in shorter words to get more work done through the day. Shorter words facilitate faster human interactions. I want to argue that this logic is universal across all languages. Any help, ideas on how to argue this are greatly appreciated. If you are a non-English speaker and your native language has a daily vocabulary which is unusually polysyllabic, please let me know about it, thanks.

Tell him the material after proper use

NASA reported that the international space station's toilet is out of order. "solid waste" removal works ok but "liquid waste" works on and off. The first interesting observation is that news of this made it to headlines which means future space stations must be designed with spare toilets in case the main one breaks down. It must cost a lot of money to send a mission out there just to fix the toilet. I know that urine in a space ship is filtered, cleaned and reused as drinking water by the astronauts which sounds very disgusting but is true. I don't know if solid waste is thrown out in space same way ships discharge waste into the sea. (read more)
