Turn off your mobile phone, don't play with your keys but eat pop-corn or snacks in a movie?? Silence is gold but gold is hard to get in the movies! Pop-corn munching, paper folding...if the theater is full, then eating corn and drinking pop makes it so annoying. If silence Is gold, why don't we ban pop-corn and other food in the movies and we can all get rich?

U.S. swimmer Michael Phelps broke the Olympics' most hallowed record Sunday by winning an unprecedented eight gold medals in a single Games.
In modern Olympic history, no athlete has accomplished that feat. Until now, U.S. swimmer Marc Spitz's seven gold medals in the 1972 Games was the number to beat.

It's interesting to see some people buying gold because they believe paper money will soon be worthless and we will move back to the gold standard. They fear that the meltdown of investment banks will make retail and commercial banks also go bankrupt. Despite the boosts and busts and all the shocks, there hasn't been a more efficient system in the history of mankind for trading, doing business and creating wealth other than paper money backed by our trust in ourselves. These ads are brilliant. They were made for the Beijing Olympics and became popular in China. Do you think that maybe it was enhanced sexual excitement that made the Chinese score the most gold medals? :)

Gold has turned black. VISA came out with what it calls the world's most prestigious and exclusive card and named it the 'Black Card' (https://www.blackcard.com). Maybe it's just me thinking like that, but isn't black the color of mourning? When people everywhere experience the most severe credit crunch ever, black associates with bleak. It might be 'appropriate' to name the card black but will it make people spend? Why not name it the Carbon Card after the material it's made of?

i thought of a small innovation to the Pet Peek window design. dogs love to sniff and have a more developed sense of smell, thus a small opening for the nose to protrude would make it more fun for the dog as it can see and sniff at the same time. on the company's website we are told their product won the 2006 Silver Medal Product Excellence Award. why not poke a hole and hope for the Gold next time! The Guru said. Please take a moment to contemplate with me the names of two of our nation's largest and most respected credit rating agencies.
Moody's...Standard And Poor's...Cheeze Everyone, that's the state of our economy.
Toxic, junk and AAA. Our beloved agencies gave the world the magic that turned all the former into all the latter. And I think to myself, what a wonderful world...The 70s saw the end of the gold standard. And now we see the beginning of the poor standard. But Don't worry, the Guru said. The Moody's They Are A-Changin'

"This comedy will make you laugh very hard and without warning, so please don't drink or eat during show time. Do so at your own risk or only if you are skilled enough to eat or drink without swallow. We have tested the comedy on a group of 20 people, 2 of which choked to death from eating and drinking while laughing out loud, very loud" (read more)

How unusual can you think as an investor, entrepreneur or collector? Forget stocks, bonds, art, real estate and gold for a moment. What about brick and mortar that is not about construction but destruction! Did you know that following the fall of the Berlin Wall in 1989 a brisk trade emerged in the West for pieces of the Wall which sold as souvenir paperweight at prices as high as high-grade silver ore?
