Obviously the best is to combine knowledge with experience but if you had to trust a professional, let's say an engineer. Would you trust someone who's works for only a year but has graduated with grade A from the best school or someone who never went to school but works as an engineer for 20 years and he's full of experience?

Words express human feelings. Jealousy, love, hate, anger, disappointment, sadness etc. When someone describes their feelings in words, the feeling is felt or understood based on one's own experience of the same feeling.

But, if someone came up with a new word to describe a feeling you never experienced in your life before, what does even a detailed description of it actually convey to you? Can we experience feelings we never felt before? Is the range of human feelings infinite?

Can we all experience same feelings?

Most of my foreign friends tell me how they notice the Japanese people often stare at them but don't stare at each other. It's true, Japanese people don't stare at each other, if at all, the same way they would stare at a foreigner. When I went to Italy I noticed there people stare a lot. Because it's not socially acceptable for the Japanese to stare at each other, I think a bar where everyone can stare at each other would make the Japanese happy to experience what they can't experience in other social settings :)

A lot of people don't know about it but there are companies that can make personalized urns of deceased people using facial reconstruction and 3D mapping software!! It's for people who want to keep their loved departed ones in an urn on the mantle. Fortunately, I don't have friends or family around me harboring such tastes. I've got an idea, however, that will enhance the product's experience. Make the eyes concave so they follow the person around the room. That's right! What's the point of having something so creepy in your room without turning it into a totally horrifying and spooky experience? lol

As a caveat to this post: I cannot accept the assertion that anything that relates to faith cannot be talked about by atheists. In my world view everything must be open to debate.
That being said, I want to focus this post on the existence or not and the definition of what is generally called spirituality. (read more)

My girlfriend is an excellent cook and since she finds me delicious she said she'd like to cook me one day but she doesn't have the right set of sharp knives to cut slice and dice me without losing my juices in the process. So I decided to buy her a top quality set of sharp knives as part of her Christmas presents and finally experience what it'd be like if my girlfriend cooked me for dinner. I'm thinking of presenting the set as follows. (read more)

What is your opinion? Should I go for an MBA directly after my undergrad or I should have a 2-3 years working experience in the industry first?

I've often thought that the traditional bracelets and necklaces were not completely reliable, as often the person with dementia will remove them, but in my experience, most people with the condition still tend to wear their shoes everywhere, especially if they plan on going outdoors...

Think about it. It involves effort, concentration, sometimes pain if not done right and above all you got to sweat a lot before you reach orgasm, not to mention that after all that hard work some people still won't experience it. Technically, it should be categorized as a masochistic activity. What's more, it's all hard-wired into our DNA. But we never think of it this way, what pleasurable hedonistic fools we all are... :D:D:D
