Gold has turned black. VISA came out with what it calls the world's most prestigious and exclusive card and named it the 'Black Card' (https://www.blackcard.com). Maybe it's just me thinking like that, but isn't black the color of mourning? When people everywhere experience the most severe credit crunch ever, black associates with bleak. It might be 'appropriate' to name the card black but will it make people spend? Why not name it the Carbon Card after the material it's made of?

If you're good at sex, don't be afraid of accepting the black belt on your little johnny. Let her take the neckband off her neck, make little johnny bow in front of her and accept the title graciously :P:P

A very macabre thought, nevertheless one that needs to be spoken out. With airline accidents, plane crashes and terrorist hijackings on the rise, a passenger's last words might be the only thing left to be passed to the bereaved families. Where's the best place to store last words then? hmmm...black box flight recorder? It's the only thing that certainly gets recovered after a plane crash and it records everything that goes on in the cockpit, so why not store records of passengers' last words too? I can't think of a better device to store the data. Passengers can use the hand sets on their seats to speak their last words with voice data passed and stored automatically in the black box.

The source of the virus reminds me of the Black Swan theory by Nicholas Taleb. A Black Swan is defined as an event which is unpredictable but once it breaks out its consequences are massive.

Experts say up to 30 million people could die if a pandemic breaks out. The economic loss is massive. People fear to go out, buy less and the economy collapses. People order food supplies from home and spray the bags before they take them inside. All life moves online because the virus can't yet transmit through the PC no matter how many peer to peer connections are open or illegal downloads are made. But what if the virus is that of a Black Swan, what if it mutates and starts spreading over the internet all of a sudden? What do you do Then?? Why are you still reading this?

do you ever think of toilet paper? we use it so much it's a necessity. we love to abuse, scratch, stain, scrub and tarnish it, don't we? we molest rile and rag its lovely white color on a rolling basis every single day...if products had rights, toilet paper rights would by definition of use be absolutely shitty and toxic! perhaps if we could reverse the effects of use by coming up with a new kind of toilet paper that comes in crap color and switches to clean white after use. you know, it goes from maculate to immaculate and from molested black to extra virgin white. imagine swiping your ... black with it and the paper comes out white instead. that would be The revolution in toilet paper rights!

For countries where committing suicide is legal and freely practiced I was thinking of 5-star restaurants for people who want to have their last meal there. Recipes will be authentic and exotic and can range from fresh wild mushrooms to scorpion soup and chocolate mousse with cobra poison. The restaurants should be conveniently located next to companies that offer funeral services. Lawyers will be available to sit with you so that you can leave a will if you like. As soon as the customer has his last bite, the waiters will wrap him in the tablecloth and pass him to the funeral shop next door. No new hero. Another mindless crime. Whatever happened to that toy in the Toys "R" Us store last night? Someone must grasp it and live with it for a while.

Come on imagine you're the wife. You spot the ridiculous low price of $XXX.99 for the toy and you know it'll make your kid very very happy to have it. You've been waiting outside the store since 4am on a Black Friday and you're almost ready to cry when you come across this great discount first. Looking from my office window I spotted this strange black thing moving in the sky. The way it was flying seemed very strange so I started taking photos of it. A lot of sudden a fighter plane moves towards it. What could this be?

what's the material black box is made of? in every plane crash it's usually the only thing that survives so why not make the whole airplane from the same material so that it also survives?
