Are you about to give away your expensive car? Sell it to Hollywood where people will make good use of it in an action movie. You know crash it and make it famous. I heard people are 'selling' expensive BMW's for $5,000 in this recession, if you worked hard for it all those years to get it it makes you cry giving it away for free. Selling it to Hollywood instead of Joe the plumber and seeing it crashed in the next James Bond movie can offer back some pride and satisfaction. 'I lost my car because Daniel Craig crashed it in Montenegro' sounds better than 'I had to sell it'

Here's how we can know. Make a movie twice but with alternate lead actor(s). Every scene is shot twice and thus two versions of the same movie are produced. One version is with lead actor(s) that are not well known and thus is cheaper to buy/watch. The other one is filmed with stars/celebrities and is more expensive. Give people the option to buy/watch one or the other or both and measure the true worth and commercial appeal of Hollywood stars.

Did you hear they make $150 million a year hijacking tankers and fish boats? My Jack Sparrow, that's a lot of money. The mistake they do is that they don't invest any money at all in pirate movies. A pirate gets bad publicity on the news and good publicity in the movies. All they have to do is invest a couple of million in Hollywood to make more pirate movies. That's it! Or hire costume consultants from Hollywood to dress them in traditional pirate attire. People will see them more sympathetically on the news this way. The rest of the money can stay buried under Somali sand :)

don't you want to see a movie where the bad character wins at the end? I watched Batman. One of the best movies in my life.
I am tired of good to win all time. It's about time the bad to win.
Hollywood makes me sick with all this good wins at the end

suggested to me by a friend. most hollywood movie classics that have jungle scenes in them use the sound of kookaburra birds even if the setting is not in australia. the laughing kookaburra bird is to be found only in australia though. ignorance or conspiracy? a zoolander-kind of a covert mission to advertise australia to the world perhaps? :)

With millions of fans around the world, it would be popular to have Star Wars restaurants. Like Planet Hollywood restaurants, they will be decorated with a Star Wars theme, but the food will be served by C-P30 droids R2-D2 robots. Tips for good service will be left in the form of olive oil, batteries or robotic parts and screws depending on, what else, the vintage of the droid :)

Just after take-off and a few minutes before landing. That's a crazy idea of a musician friend of mine. It's not allowed of course but he asked me to ask people how they would feel if an airline offered a few minutes of in-flight live music. I think it's too difficult if not impossible to do on commercial flights but perhaps on a private flight it's possible. hmmm, I must admit that it's fun to imagine it. Flight attendants playing Mozart on the violin and other musical instruments before landing in Austria. That sounds so... Hollywood! Movies are definitely the place this idea can work well :)

I just got the book 'Guns, Germs and Steel' as a gift from a friend of mine. In the back cover he had attached a dvd documentary of the book by National Geographic which he had downloaded online. I saw the dvd first and it made me very excited about reading the book. Maybe it's a good idea to sell both fiction and non-fiction books with a dvd documentary or special. It might be more expensive to make books this way but on the other hand people might become more interested in buying the book if they can preview the dvd in the bookshop or online. Perhaps that's an area where Hollywood and the publishing world can join forces and do business together.

Finally, some 'smart' pirates over in Somalia have bought laptops and an internet connection and are reading JackSparrow on the loo! Finally, they are following JackSparrow's advice to dress better in order to make the world more sympathetic to their plight. But instead of picking Hollywood to do their PR as I advised, those fools chose the White House. They got so afraid The Bro in Da Houz would tax them, they dressed up and rushed to negotiate lower taxes on their bounty. I can almost hear this Somali pirambassador asking Obama, "Arrr...Don't tax me bro and I'll hook to the law." You never know with a pirate if he means The Law of the Sea or the Law of Pirasea but The Bro knows very well what he is up to! (read more)

"Yarr, talk to me parrot"

according to wikipedia, piranhas may be known for their sharp teeth and an aggressive appetite for meat, however, despite the negative Hollywood publicity piranhas are not generally violent and have been known to be domesticated in home and office fish tanks. if your ex has a fish tank send him a pair of "domesticated" piranhas with a note that they are gentle to the human touch and can also be hand-fed..I can imagine goldfish costumes made for piranhas as camouflage or fish food with special hormones to either calm and domesticate a wild piranha or to develop a taste for meat for your goldfish... either product would be an excellent revenge gift don't you think? :)
