The lower the expectations others have that I succeed the better the chances that I will actually do so. Freedom to act without constantly thinking whether I will meet the targets others have set for me make my actions more fun, enjoyable and rewarding. When you have nothing to lose, you always come out with the feeling of having won even if your targets haven't been met. In everything I do, I always remind myself to manage others expectations first and set them as low as possible. While that might hurt my ego a bit, it broadens freedom of action. The more you are discounted, the more you will be counted. What's your philosophy on this?

If in the future we will carry one card only for making payments then what about a smart chip that automatically charges the payment to the credit card or to the bank account with the lowest interest rate charge?

Do you think it would be fair game to require companies to label along with the price of a product the profit margin they make out of it? I wonder how such practice would alter shopping behavior and in turn pricing of products...
