Obviously old computers, typewriters, telephones, calculators, etc are no longer high quality to the industrialized world as technology continually advances. However, these out-dated pieces of capital could increase productivity in alarming rates to those who could employee them in the third world. This minor act of philanthropy (or business venture) would do much more for the well being of people than typical charity.

      Owners of capital will stimulate the working class to buy more and more of expensive goods, houses and technology, pushing

      How about a new type of loan for students or workers who want to take a year off (or more) in a foreign country and work as volunteers for a cause? The loan will be repaid in work hours, not in cash...

      Isn't there a better way to make use of calls we did not wish to make? What if the first name in our list of phone contacts was a number that belonged to a charity and when that number is called the cost of the call is donated to that charity? With people forgetting to lock their mobile phones and accidentally calling the first person in the list of contacts, I think that's a brilliant idea...
